The project phases

The PETER process is divided into a series of integrated phases, designed to maximize the recovery of polyester even from complex and impure waste.

Return to purity

Outputs achieved

Our process concludes with the production of purified monomer, suitable for repolymerization into PET or PBT, or it can be further integrated downstream with a polycondensation line based on a well-established technology.

These new products are ready to embark on a new life cycle as fabrics, packaging, or other sustainable industrial goods.

Qualitative and Sustainable Advantages

1. Virgin-Equivalent Quality

The resulting monomer is pure and suitable for new applications in textiles or packaging.

2. Impurity Tolerance

PETER processes contaminated, blended, dyed, or worn waste, reducing pre-treatment costs.

3. Industrial Flexibility

t is scalable, modular, and can be integrated into existing industrial settings—even at small to medium scale.

4. Supports the Circular Economy

It transforms plastic and textile waste into valuable resources, reducing reliance on fossil-based raw materials.
